Sibel Ozer, LPC, LPCC, ATR-BC
Sibel is a psychotherapist, art therapist, artist, author, and lifelong spiritual seeker. Her work in the field started as a clinical psychologist in Turkey. Subsequent to their move to the United States she graduated from Naropa University with a master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Art Therapy. She received post graduate training in EMDR, Gestalt Therapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapies.
Over the years she worked with hospice patients, in health care settings, and in private practice specializing in grief & loss, and trauma. She continues her clinical work in private practice and focuses on writing and teaching about Heart-Centered Psychotherapy. She resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and escapes to their lake cottage in Gregory, Michigan whenever possible. She enjoys rowing, hot yoga, tango, traveling, communing with nature, and time spent with friends and family.
